Becoming a VP—a Vocal Point listener—means unlocking a world of audio programming designed specifically for individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or otherwise print-disabled due to conditions such as dyslexia, stroke, macular degeneration, or other vision-related or neurological conditions.

Our services are always free to those who need them. Whether you prefer to listen online, by phone, or through one of our specialized devices, we make it easy to stay informed, engaged, and connected—right from wherever you are.

Get a Free Vocal Point Radio or Echo Dot Device

Vocal Point offers free radios and Amazon Echo Dot devices to eligible residents throughout Georgia, helping you access our audio programs with ease and convenience. To request a device, simply complete the form below.
While our services and devices are provided at no cost, we rely on the generous support of donors to maintain and expand our outreach. If you feel moved to help us continue this important work, please consider making a gift on our Donation Page.

- Amazon Echo Dot ($20 suggested donation, one per household): The Echo Dot streams our program through the pre-enabled TuneIn app. Setup requires Wi-Fi, a smartphone, and an Amazon account linked to an email address. The device cannot be used without an email for the Amazon account.
- Portable Radio: A simple on/off radio pre-tuned to your local VP frequency. It can run on batteries or a power cord for home or on-the-go use. Lacks an external antenna, so it may not work well in rural areas or where reception is weak.

Our Monthly Program Guide provides a detailed schedule of the programs we broadcast each month, along with a list of the books currently being read on air. This guide helps you know what shows are airing, when they are scheduled, and which books you can follow along with. We send these guides directly to our listeners in accessible formats to meet your needs.
